Summer is here and, while the weather may be warm, that doesn’t mean we will be slowing down at the shop! We have lots of fun events planned to take us through the warm summer months!
Cascade Yarn Tasting
Yep, we will be “tasting” a variety of Cascade yarns on Thursday, July 23 from 4pm – 7pm. You’ll be able to, not only look and touch, but also try them out by knitting or crocheting with them. And, our wonderful Cascade Representative will be on hand to answer your questions! All Cascade Yarns will be 10% off during the event, so don’t miss out! Be sure to RSVP for this one as we will also be serving refreshments.
Recycle Weekend

Be sure to visit us on August 14 – 15, for our big Recycle Weekend! All of our yarns made from recycled materials as well as project bags and other items will be on sale Friday and Saturday! Bring your plastic grocery bags to donate to The Wil-Mat Project and receive an entry into a free raffle for one of several great prizes (to be announced at a later date).
3rd Annual San Diego Yarn Crawl
When: September 17 – 20, 2015 What: 10 Shops, 2 Alpaca Farms, 1 Yarnover Truck, Tons of Fun, Prizes and, of course, YARN! 
That’s right, “the Crawl” is just around the corner and this year, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! You will tour beautiful San Diego county with a car-load of your yarny pals as you visit all of our fiber-friends from San Marcos down to Chula Vista and from Pacific Beach to Julian! All the details will be on the San Diego Yarn Crawl website, which is still being updated. There you will be able to download your Official Passport and a map of the crawl and get all the latest news. If you sign up for the Yarn Crawl Newsletter, you will be certain to be up to date on all the news!
