The votes are in and you’ve chosen the lovely Sycamore Vest as our next Knit-Along. Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey!
A minimalist vest acts like an accessory, adding some punch to an everyday outfit.
Sycamore is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up until you divide for the armholes. Charted borders are worked at the same time. The back and fronts are then worked separately. The collar and armholes are picked up and knitted.
For this pattern you’ll be knitting both from written instructions and from charts. When knitting from charts, read them from right to left on the right side (RS) or odd rows, and from left to right when knitting on the wrong side (WS) or even rows.
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in Stockinette stitch
