We had a busy month in June, starting with World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 10 and ending with the Stitch n Pitch at Petco Park hosted by The Yarnover Truck. If you missed out, here are some pics from the events and, don’t worry, these happen every year so you can join us next time.

World Wide Knit In Public Day
On June 10 about 30 of us gathered at the nice, new Starbucks at La Mesa Blvd and University to share our love of knitting (and crochet). While the weather started out a little chilly, it quickly warmed up. It was great to see all projects people are working on, meet new friends and catch up with old ones. We even did a “Facebook Live”!

2017 Stitch n Pitch
Nearly 80 fiber enthusiasts came out for the Padres game on June 23, including about a dozen from Yarn & Thread Expressions. It was so much fun seeing everyone work on their (easy) projects as they watched the game. Barbara and Maridee from The Yarnover Truck had goody bags for everyone as well as great prizes for all the folks who won at Bingo! As you can see from the pictures, it was just too much fun!
