The Yarn Crawl is Coming!
September 15th – 18th, 2016
The coundown to the 4th Annual San Diego Yarn Crawl has begun! Join fiber enthusiasts from across the county and beyond for four full days of yarny goodness!I
During the crawl you will be able to visit 8 unique yarn shops, 3 wonderful alpaca farms and 1 mobile yarn truck. This free, self-guided tour will take you from San Marcos in the North to Chula Vista in the South, Encinitas in the West to Julian in the East – with plenty of stops along the way.
Dates & Times
Thursday, September 15 — 9am – 6pm
Friday, September 16 — 9am – 6pm
Saturday, September 17 –9am – 6pm
Sunday, September 18 — 9am – 5pm
Passport & Map
This year the passport looks a little different than in years past. Plus, you will be able to keep the portion with the stamps you collected during your journey.
Stitch Marker Madness
This year, each shop/farm will be giving away keepsake stitch markers with their logo/shop name on them. Be sure to get your passport stamped when you visit Yarn & Thread Expressions so you can get yours.
But that’s not all. You can also earn four beautiful Swarovski crystal stitch markers when you visit all the locations in each region – North County, South County and East County. Click hear to learn more.
Keepsake Bags
We are really pleased with this year’s bag and we think you will be too! This sturdy tote is made out of 12 oz. canvas, and at 17.5″ x 20″ x 7″ it should be large enough to hold all your goodies during and after the crawl. The tote is only $10.
