Next Wednesday evening, June 17, we will start our stuffed animal knit or crochet along. We have three adorable projects for you to choose from. We will work on these projects for three weeks, so be sure to join us! For both the knitting and crochet patterns, you should have a basic understanding of how to knit or crochet as well as some basic knowledge of reading patterns. There are two knitted designs to choose from: the first is the Parlor Cat, by Sara Elizabeth Kellner, and is free on Raverly. The other knitted design is the Felted Pig by Kraemer Yarns, and is also a free download from their website. The pig can be felted or not; we have samples of both versions in our shop. The crochet design offered is the Walter Bear by Janine Holmes from the UK, and is a free download from the online magazine LetsKnit.co.uk. The best news about all of these designs – you can use any weight of yarn or type of fiber; your choice all depends on how big you want the end result.
