It’s bunny time!!! That’s right – Easter and Spring are right around the corner and what could be cuter than a hand-knit bunny – or two, or three (you know how bunnies are!) for that special child’s Easter basket?
We will begin this project on March 1 and end on March 15. Each meeting is from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
You have two bunnies to choose from – either knit or crochet!
Our knit bunny is BonBon– a little cutie that can be created with just about any weight of yarn. You can find the pattern on Ravelry for just $6. He (or she) is worked completely in the round and all the pieces are attached as you work – NO SEAMING!!!
Skills You’ll Use/Learn
- Knitting in the round
- Increase and decrease
- Three-needle joins
- Use of stitch markers
What You’ll Need
- 200 yards of yarn – weight DK to Chunky
- Needles sized appropriate to yarn – double pointed or two circulars depending on your preferred method for knitting in the round
- Stitch markers
- Pattern
Our crochet bunny is Minty the Spring Bunny and can also be created with any yarn weight from DK to Chunky. The pattern can be found on Ravelry for $4. This little fellow is made in pieces and is quick and easy to assemble.
